Meet . . . Linda and Richard Merrick, hosts since 1994, and . . .

Welcome to the Glass Door Inn, a newly constructed Bed and Breakfast with all of today's modern conveniences nestled in a serene, rural setting.

The Inn, just 2.3 miles from Fairfield, is located on 2 acres of open countryside. Guests can roam the adjoining 70 acres of open fields, and trees, encountering a small lake, deer, wildflowers, and nature at its best.

A restful location and a floor plan providing guest's privacy as well as personal space were prime building requirements for the innkeepers, Linda and Richard Merrick. In former occupations, the Merricks both traveled and became all too familiar with what was good and not so good in lodging.

Accommodations

Ocean Room- White wicker, colorful tropical flowers, blue/green waves, shimmering sand, pastel shells of the ocean, and sliding doors onto the upstairs porch. Queen bed and full trundle day bed, five foot vanity with makeup space and tub/shower combination in the bath. Sleeps up to 4.

Character Room- Light gray accented with red, black, and yellow primary colors, laughable cartoon characters everywhere, with queen bed and full-size futon, and pedestal sink and shower in the bath. Sleeps up to 3.

Marine Room- Teal and blue colors of the sea, vivid colored fish, smiling mermaid, boats, boats, and more boats, with queen bed, and pedestal sink and shower in the bath. Sleeps up to 2.

Victorian Room- Soft floral colors, vaulted ceiling, half circle stained glass window, eyelet draped queen bed, and oval garden tub in the bath. Sleeps up to 2.
