Experience the Meriwether House Bed and Breakfast which is located in the southeast corner of the state of Kansas, a two to three hour drive from Kansas City, Wichita, Tulsa, and Branson.

In 1988 this cottage home was converted into a Bed and Breakfast. The four bedrooms with private baths, two sitting rooms and kitchen were restored to the original style and decor of the cottage. The home itself was established around 1918 and has been in the Meriwether family since that time. It is two blocks from the turn-of-the-century downtown square where you can enjoy shopping in unique stores including one of the oldest hardware stores in the state. Also available for your leisure time is nearby golfing swimming, tennis. Located just north of Columbus is some of the best hunting and fishing in this part of the country. Visit the beautiful Mined Land Wildlife Area.

The Meriwether House Bed and Breakfast caters to families who gather in Columbus for weddings, family or class reunions. They are also centrally located for business accommodation needs.
