Located on 300 acres at the foot of the Ozark mountains, the Gasconade Getaway is everything you have ever wanted in a peaceful retreat. A charming, modern, natural wood, two-story inn, the Getaway boasts post-and-beam construction, rich wood floors and moldings, a wood stove, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The inn is fully furnished and sleeps up to six people. Barb and Mike will stock the refrigerator with a wide selection of foods and home-baked goods for your breakfast. For a sample of what may await you in the morning- Cheddar Cheese and Chive Scones.
Tuck yourself into the quiet, wooded surroundings and spend your time in peaceful relaxation. Sit by the lake, walk in the woods, commune with nature. Or venture out into the surrounding areas to float the Gasconade River, visit several quaint antique shops, or drive to Jefferson City for a day of sight-seeing.
Whatever you choose to do, Barb and Mike promise you a peaceful, relaxing stay that will allow you to return home reenergized.
