We are family owned and operated since 1985 and the area's first and finest bed and breakfast establishment. If the past intrigues you, then the OLD POWERHOUSE is for you. This brick building was built in 1910 and generated electric power from a water flume into the late 30's. It features two suites. das ABEND HAUS COTTAGE (the Evening House) is a restful creekside hideaway, tucked into a mountainside. It has two suites that are designed after a German cottage in the Black Forest. The INDIVIDUAL LOG COTTAGES are also reminiscent of Germany and the Abend Haus Tradition. They all sit creekside, so you can enjoy soaking in your private hot tub, watching Rapid Creek flow by. These accommodations are unsurpassed anywhere.
