urtle Cove Resort, on its own private beach between Cairns and Port Douglas, is one of the world's great gay and lesbian resorts. With 31 rooms, a spectacular beachfront location and a backdrop of ancient rainforest, it attracts gay men and women from all over the world. It is 30 minutes from Cairns International Airport in Australia's tropical north.

The resort underwent a major renovation recently and all rooms now are state of the art with all private facilities, balconies, direct dial phones modem points and exquisite furnishings. They are finished in "tropic modern" style as designed by our interior decorator. The exception is the two bedroom apartment which has an African theme. All rooms have a Coral Sea view.
