With soaring vaulted ceilings, scores of large windows, several double French doors, and a unique design affording privacy but always focusing guests into the view, Cloud 9 brings about a rare intimacy between "inside" and "outside". Simply put, Cloud 9 aims to give you a positively supernatural experience.

Cloud 9 offers a choice of two private luxury suites in the new (2003) coach house fully detached from the main residence, adjacent to the newly developed rock garden complete with Koi pond.

The detached Celeste and Orion Suites both offer spectacular ocean/island views, private entry, double French doors to a private patio, heated floors, corner fireplace, ensuite Jacuzzi bathroom with separate glass shower, satellite TV/VCR, stereo/CD, mini-fridge, and seating for two. Both suites also offer nine-foot ceilings, skylights and 100% cotton bedding as well as down duvets and pillows.

The Celeste Suite is beautifully furnished in a New England styled Queen bed with matching night tables and hand-knotted Chinese & Persian rugs. The Orion Suite is furnished in a classic Stickley/Craftsman style Queen bed with matching night tables and hand-knotted Persian rugs.

The original Orion Suite in the main residence is also available as a third suite during high season or as required, with no other guests above, below or beside. The original Orion is appointed with a classic Stickley/Craftsman style Queen bed and night tables, down duvet & pillows, 100% cotton bedding, period lighting, TV/VCR, stereo/CD, mini-fridge, cozy corner fireplace and seating for two. The Orion enjoys spectacular panoramic views and a private patio with separate entry with double French doors. The Orion also features a private deluxe bathroom with a double soaker tub and a large glass shower as well as complimentary terry robes and a range of amenities.

Cloud 9 offers many luxury features including individually controlled in-floor heat and a 35-jet outdoor hot tub - you'll relax in an atmosphere of casual elegance. From the main living room with its corner Hearthstone fireplace, to the spacious lower level Retreat lounge with its all-day hot beverage bar, Cloud 9 pampers the senses with many unique touches: acid-etched heated floors decorated with Persian carpets, hand rubbed woodwork, fine art and comfortable furnishings. For your convenience, there are also two complimentary mountain bikes, secluded picnic spots, telephone, fax, and laundry service if desired. In the late afternoon, you may wish to mingle with your knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Or, you can meander off to the Retreat room to contemplate, write or just enjoy the view with eagles, ravens, hawks and turkey vultures cruising the edge of the bluff just feet away. Cloud 9 makes space for every guest to find a natural balance, and perhaps do nothing at all.
