The Shangri-La Suite has queen & single beds, a central cable TV/DVD lounge area around the gas fireplace, a galley kitchen with bar fridge, microwave & tea/coffee facilities, a desk, private outdoor deck and full bathroom with jacuzzi tub & skylight. All this top-floor privacy and potential romance for under CAD.$200/nt year round!

The sunny Hollywood room has queen bed, glamour & tinseltown fun decor. The ensuite bath has a shower, exposed red brick walls, glass & brass fit for a Star. Cable TV and DVD/video collection for your viewing pleasure.

The Bombay room has queen bed and British-India decor. The ground-floor room was built originally as the dining room and as such, features a huge bay window, handsome built-in chest of drawers, wainscoting, plate rail and original stained glass. The ensuite antique clawfoot soaker tub(& shower)is a particular delight. Cable TV/DVD/VCR are tucked away in a wardrobe.

The Cabin is a Canadian experience, panelled in knotty pine and featuring Mountie prints and deer antlers. Sit in the pine rocker by the old-fashioned(electric)"stove", keep a beer in the mini-fridge and watch hockey on the cable TV/DVD/VCR. Queen bed and single sofabeds for sleeping options. The ensuite bath features shower, stained glass and woodsy painted wall mural.

The desk in Vienna overlooks the front garden. The room features a grand European queen brass bed and charming mahogany furnishings. The room is more economic than preceding rooms as there is a lighted vanity sink in the room and a hall bath shared with our last room.

Sailor's room is simple and shipshape. Queen bed, nautical touches, an outdoor deck and and an indoor vanity sink. Shared hall bath just outside the door.

Our breakfasts are healthy and full of friendly conversation. There are always fresh fruits, cereals and baked goods for those who want to skip the hot entree (ie., swiss & asparagus omlet, blueberry pancakes & Canadian maple syrup). Be sure to let us know in advance if we can plan for your dietary resrictions. Regrettably, our home-style kitchen may not be able to handle last-minute, special order requests.

We are adult-oriented, accepting kids 16 years and older, if accompanied by a well-behaved parent. We are a non-smoking establishment making every effort to avoid pesky allergens such as dust-bunnies and feathers. Still - smokers may use two private decks or our front garden. The living room of Nelson House B & B is visited on invitation by Ozzie, our little Cairn Terrier. As much as we love pets, we cannot accommodate them. Please do ask us for advice on a first-rate home boarding service for travelling pets.
