Bed and Breakfast Inns of North America

Old Farm Bed and Breakfast

Cowichan Bay, British Columbia

Just 40 minutes north of Victoria, the Old Farm is an historic Vancouver Island waterfront home, designed by eminent turn-of-the-century west coast architect Samuel Maclure. Three storeys, 5,000 square feet on two acres sloping down to Cowichan Bay. Nearby is a charming fishing village of the same name. The region is rural, but within 10 minutes by car are all the urban shopping facilities, as well as two golf courses, tennis courts and fine restaurants. On the property is a gazebo overlooking the water, as well as a badminton court, horseshoe pits, fruit trees and gardens. The bird watching is outstanding. The climate in the Cowichan Valley is considered Canada's finest, with mild winters and comfortable summers.
