award winning home that includes four guest rooms with adjacent bathrooms,
a Victorian conservatory, shared sitting rooms and two large sundecks
with gazebos for shade, and a 30 jet hot tub. This unusual home sits
on 10 park-like acres that include gardens, an orchard and a small forest.
Stroll the trails that wind through rolling pastures dotted with giant
cedar, fir and maple trees. Relax over breakfast in a Victorian conservatory,
lounge on the sundecks or soak in the hot tub. Use Rural Roots
as your base to visit exciting, downtown Vancouver, a short 1 hour's
drive away. After a busy day, return to the relaxed pace of Rural Roots'
unique country setting to enjoy the best of both worlds, rural and urban. While at Rural Roots,
you can explore the many recreational opportunities of the Fraser Valley.
Hike or ski in nearby Mt. Baker or Manning Park. Enjoy the breathtaking
scenery with a short drive up the Coquihalla or Fraser Canyon. Travel
the incredible North Cascade loop or through Lilliott and onto the Duffy
Lake Road. Shop in nearby Lynden or Bellingham, Washington. Visit the
huge Abbotsford or Cloverdale flea markets. Visit historic Westminster
Abbey in Mission or quaint Fort Langley. Your hosts, Jim
and Len want to give you a chance to return to a simpler time. Immerse
yourself in the slow and predictable rhythms of country life. Give your

1 hour SE of Vancouver, 2 hours north of Seattle, 30 minutes north of
Bellingham, 45 minutes north of beautiful Mt. Baker ski resort in Washington
State, 2 hours west of Manning Park in B.C. We are 15 minutes west of
Abbotsford.
