The Waverley Inn is perfectly situated Downtown in one of Canada's most scenic seaport cities -- Halifax. The historic waterfront area where boat tours and fishing excursions are available is a short walk from the inn. Coach tours pick guests up at the inn daily for tours of the city and day trips to small coastal fishing villages. The inn offers 32 guest rooms all with ensuite, and several rooms with large jetted tubs. Each room offers all the amenities of a larger hotel, such as personal telephones, color cable television and air conditioning. A hospitality suite, called the Friendship Room, is available to guests each evening in which coffee, tea, juices and light snacks are provided.
