our home of Northern Hospitality plus! Location, Location, Location! Reasonably priced, quite, clean comfortable accommodation, situated in the heart of Yellowknife's new town. We are just two blocks from Franklin Avenue, our main street, and less then a five-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

We have three B&B bedrooms situated in a private suite on the lower level of our home with it's own private entrance. All our bedrooms are keyed and the main entrance has a computerized lock system. Two bedrooms have the option of twin or king size beds. The other room has a double bed. All bedrooms have VCR's and full cable TV service. Our bathroom is shared and one bedroom has a vanity with sink in it. Our B&B has its own guest living room and kitchen. We supply hot and cold breakfast foods for a self-service breakfast.

There is a guest living room with full cable TV and VCR's with an assortment of movies to choose from. There is a guest telephone in the suite with no charge for local calls long distance calls may be made with a calling card. Calling cards are available to you at our purchase price.

In summer we have a spacious lawn and are known in this community for our flower garden and well-kept property. Embleton House is the holder of first place for the City of Yellowknife landscaping and flowers contest in the business category for the summer of 2001.

As life long residents of Yellowknife we are determined to help you have a memorable stay. We will be more then happy to help direct you to local historical and everyday points of interests. Just ask and we will review sightseeing options with you. We will inform you of your options for self-guided or Tour Company guided tours of the city and surrounding areas. Northern lights or dog team rides.

We have a supply of complementary northern magazines for our guests. As life long residents of Yellowknife both your hosts are capable of answering most of your questions about life in the north, the politics of northern living and most history questions concerning the development of the north. We are well connected in the business community of Yellowknife and know most of the tour operators and options open to tourist and new residents of this city. Were looking forward to meeting you!!
