mbleton House operates two Award Winning Bed and Breakfast from this location. Embleton House Rooms and Embleton House Luxury Studio Suites. Known as the home of Northern Hospitality- Plus! We boast a great down town location in the heart of Yellowknife's new town. We are just two blocks from Franklin Avenue, (main street) and less then a five-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.
Both our Standard B&B rooms and our Luxury B&B Studio Suites are reasonably priced. We have a reputation for providing a great home atmosphere and a quite, clean comfortable accommodation.
We have three Private B&B bedrooms situated in a private suite on the lower level of our home with a
private entrance. On the other side of our home we have expanded to 4 Luxury Studio Suites with a private entrance. All our bedrooms and suites are keyed. Both the main entrances have a computerized lock system. In our suites and rooms there is the option of twin, king or queen size beds. Suites have full private bathrooms. Those who rent private bedrooms share living room and kitchen bathroom and computer with internet with other guests. Luxury Studio Suites Guest has everything private. We supply hot and cold breakfast foods for a self-service breakfast in both the Luxury Studio Suites and for those sharing the kitchen. Guest here are welcome to purchase groceries and cook other meals in both Shared apartment fully equipped guest kitchen and in private suites kitchen.
For those sharing a guest living room there is a TV with full cable TV and VCR's with an assortment of movies to choose from. Each Suite and private bed room has a phone with voice mail with no charge for 
local calls. Long distance calls require a calling card. Our luxury Studio suites boast air massage tubs for two and a full bathrooms, stoves, fridges microwaves computers with internet, TV-DVD, VCR, Two suites have sky lights over the bed for a great view of Aurora when there is no snow covering them.
In summer we have a spacious lawn and decks are known in this community for our flower garden and well-kept property.
As life long residents of Yellowknife we are determined to help you have a memorable stay. We will be more then happy to help direct you to local historical and everyday points of interests. Just ask and we will review sightseeing options with you. We will inform you of your options for self-guided or Tour Company guided tours of the city and surrounding areas. Northern lights or dog team rides. Just ask us.
We have a supply of complementary northern magazines for our guests. As life long residents of Yellowknife both your hosts are capable of answering most of your questions about life in the north, the politics of northern living and most history questions concerning the development of the north. We are well connected in the business community of Yellowknife and know most of the tour operators and options open to tourist and new residents of this city. Were looking forward to meeting you!!
