Our home has maintained most of it's exterior details. The ginger bread running trim which looks to appear to be solid has carved surfaces and square inserts. The brick pattern on the front facade surrounding the second floor windows adds to the turn of the century details that were common at the time.

The front step entrance to the porch is topped with a gabled roof. The porch posts frame the storm door which carries the look and feel of Home Sweetland Home B&Bthe wood work throughout the interior. The curved porch wraps around the front and left side of the house. The balustrades, posts, and filled design cornices create a typical Edwardian porch, which is great for relaxing, reading a book or enjoying the garden.

The most lavishly appointed room in a Edwardian home was the drawing room, also known as the parlor. It was typical for this room to be spacious, with high ceilings, and other elaborate architectural features.

The marble fireplace has survived over the years, but has gone through some structural changes and modernization improvements allowing it both functionality and safety. The ceiling in both the parlor and the entrance way remain home to three matching, original, crystal chandeliers with fruit and floral ceramic medallions. These details in many turn of the century homes have been lost, damaged, or removed completely. The foyer features a handsomely carved dividing beam, finished at both ends with decorativeHome Sweetland Home B&B sconces that were very typical for this era of home.

The stairwell off of the foyer has also maintained it's original details. The solid butternut baluster, finials, and rail fittings are all in excellent condition considering their constant use over the years. At the end of the entrance way hall, are a pair of wooden doors with original etched glass inserts, leading into the dining room. Once again it is incredible for these doors to have survived over time. These doors carry the same details that remain throughout the main floor; the exterior front and back doors as well as the front hall closet door.

Bedroom One- "The Suite"- The suite consists of the entire third floor. There is a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a private bathroom with a modular shower, a kitchenette, and a bright sitting area with a television.

Bedroom Two This bedroom is tastefully decorated and faces the front of the house. It has an antique full sized bed and the added convenience of a sink in the room.

Bedroom Three- This bright, spacious bedroom overlooks the side/back garden of the home and has a large antique queen-sized bed. It is clean and tastefully decorated with a sitting area.
