elcome to the Aberdeen Guest House. Our home is located in historic Cabbage Town, which boasts one of North America's largest assortments of Victorian homes. Beautiful parks and tree-lined streets adorn this quiet neighbourhood. We are right in the heart of the city with lots of cafés and restaurants just round the corner. Younge Street is within easy walking distance. Stroll to theatres, shopping and most attractions.

All of our spacious guest rooms contain queen-size beds, television, ceiling fans and central air conditioning. A beautifully appointed, spacious bath is shared. Bathrobes are provided in each room. Our guestrooms are:

  • The Sunflower Room -- Framed sunflower prints hang on warm golden walls. Sunflower cushions wait on comfy chairs in a cozy sitting area. The four poster, queen-sized bed is draped with a bright sunflower spread. Antiques, fresh flowers and complimentary terry bathrobes refine the home-like atmosphere. Everything about this room is warm, including the ceramic fireplace.
  • The Magnolia Room -- The spring-time offers guests staying in this room a view of our lovely Magnolia tree in bloom. A rich Victorian red covers the walls while light magnolia patterns complete this peaceful room. A cozy seating area, fresh flowers, warm light and a mignificent cherry wood sleigh bed make you feel at home.
  • The Water Lily Room -- A pine pioneer bed provides simple comfort in this lovely room. In the daytime, sunshine streams through the window overlooking the garden. Stained glass lamplight glows warmly in the evening.

During the week we serve a Continental breakfast and on weekends a full, hot breakfast is served in the dining room.

A walk-out deck is the path to restful tranquility in our "Secret Garden." Bright blooms, deep green foliage, a patio table and glowing lanterns make warm city nights and hot summer afternoons peaceful and enjoyable.

There's lots to do in Toronto within walking distance of the Aberdeen Guest House. Restaurants and cafés are abundant right around the corner and Yonge Street with all of its excitement, theatres, shopping and attractions is an easy walk. Your hosts, Gary and Richard, welcome you!
