ideau Inn, on a quiet, shady, residential street in busy downtown Ottawa, was modernized by the previous B&B owner, yet retains the charm of a century home with high ceilings, cornice moldings, an impressive entry foyer and staircase and grand proportions. We've decorated with antique furnishings to create an inviting cozy oasis with period appeal. Our guest living room has TV/VCR, a video library, stained glass and an ornamental fireplace. The formal dining room is embellished with oak French doors and oak moldings.

Breakfasts may be enjoyed on the private, 3rd floor roof garden/deck. Five unique bedrooms share three bathrooms, and two other bedrooms enjoy private en-suite baths. All bedrooms have in room telephones for free local calls. We offer on-site prearranged $10/day parking or we can direct you to inexpensive lots nearby. Leave your car behind. It's only a short walk to Parliament Hill, University of Ottawa, Byward Market, trendy Elgin St., Sparks St. Mall, Chinatown, the Rideau Centre, Little Italy, Somerset St. gay village, cinemas, theatres, nightclubs, restaurants, transit, and so much more. Our house is adults only and smoke and pet free but you may smoke on exterior decks and porches.
