La Conciergerie Guest House

a Conciergerie is Montréal's premier guest house. Since our opening in 1985, we have gained an ever growing popularity among travellers from Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia. A beautiful Victorian home built in 1885 offers a total of 17 rooms, eight with shared bath and nine with private bath. All of the rooms are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds and duvet comforters. The rooms are air-conditioned for your comfort.

A complimentary European breakfast consisting of coffee, orange juice, bagels, croissants, english muffins, home-baked breads, fresh fruit, jams, etc., is offered to be enjoyed either in the breakfast room or on one of the outdoor terraces. The summer months you can take advantage of our private roof-top sundeck to work on your tan and all year-round there is a warm jacuzzi to relax in. There is a full kitchen available for those with special diets or just special desires! For our business travellers, we have a FAX service available, as well as Internet hookup.

The house is centrally located in Montréal, within walking distance to most major points of interest including downtown shopping, charming Old Montréal, the "Cafe Terrasses" of rue St-Denis as well as its trendy boutiques, the busy main street Ste-Catherine, Place des Arts, Palais des Congres and the East Village with its many gay shops, restaurants and those notorious bars. The Metro (subway) is just two short blocks away and we have maps and guide books to help you find your way around town. We can offer suggestions as to where to shop or eat. There is plenty of on-street parking for those who drive and the airport taxi rate is 28,00$.
