Mariposa B&B is located in a Victorian house which was beautifully renovated in 1982. It's location on Prince Arthur street offers easy access to the most interesting sites of the city. A parking space is available either at the back of the house or on the street.

For your privacy; Mariposa offers you, on the second floor, a beautiful air-conditioned suite. This private suite includes a bedroom (queen-size bed) with antique Québécois furniture. Adjoining the bedroom, there is a charming little den suitable for reading, writing or just relaxing in front of the television (cable). For your convenience, you will find a telephone and a desk. A cot can also accommodate a third guest. Also at your disposal are brochures on what to see or do in and around Montréal to make your stay even more enjoyable. There is also a full bathroom with hair dryer and some toiletry.

Full healthy breakfast is served until 10 am. The menu consists of orange juice, homemade granola cereal, fresh fruit and, alternatively warm croissants, the famed Montréal bagels with cheese, Eggs Benedictine, Belgian waffle with maple syrup or, for a Québec touch, the delicious "galettes de sarrasin" (buckwheat crepes). For beverages, you have the choice of freshly ground Columbian coffee or a variety of teas.

Rest assured that Marie-Paule will take you under her wing as soon as you arrive. She will be happy to inform you of the current events, the not-to-miss sights to visit in Montréal, and according to your tastes, suggest restaurants that you might like to try.

Mariposa Bed and Breakfast is located downtown, just one block from Mc Gill university on Prince Arthur street between University and Durocher streets. Walking distances to most important sites: 10 minutes to 2 métro stations: (Place de Arts and Mc Gill) 5 minutes to Tourist information centre. 5 minutes to beautiful Mt-Royal Park. 25 minutes to Old Montréal. 30 minutes to Old Port. 15 minutes to Convention Centre. 15 minutes to the Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Contemporary Art. 10 minutes to the Underground city. (boutiques, restos, cinemas etc.).
