through out the year. Calderhouse Inn is located on the river bank which
runs through the centre of the city.
The location is picturesque and peaceful while at the same time allowing very
easy access to the downtown district. The broadway shopping district with its
interesting shops, pubs (Lydia's famous for its writers), and restaurants is
three blocks away. The local university is a five minute walking distance.
Our Inn provides very roomy spaces with attached sitting rooms baths and private
decks overlooking the river. The Innkeeper has a particular love of fibre arts
and does spinning and weaving. The local arts and crafts council has a large
membership of accessible people with varied creative interests. Workshops are
provided at the Inn for individuals wanting to learn to spin fibre (wool alpaca
silk, etc.).
