AARON'S COFFEE CAKE

From the kitchen of
1870 Wedgwood Inns of New Hope, Bucks County, Pa.
New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania

 

Ingredients

  • MIX:
  • 1 1/2 c sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks of soft margarine
  • ADD & MIX:
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • TOPPING:
  • In a separate bowl, mix:

  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 c walnuts

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Into greased bundt pan, place 1/2 batter; sprinkle with 1/2 topping; place rest of batter on top; sprinkle balance of topping

    Bake 45 to 55 minutes.

    MAKES 1 bundt cake

    ( The sour cream makes the difference!)
