
APPLE MINCEMEAT COBBLER

Ingredients
- FOR THE COBBLER:
- 2 cups apple pie filling
- 2 cups mincemeat
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/3 cup butter
- brandy or rum to taste
- FOR THE CRUST:
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1/4 pound butter, softened
- 6 tsp. boiling water
Directions
CRUST: Put biscuit mix in bowl with softened butter. Pour in boiling water. Mix with a fork until mixture forms a ball. Grease hands and pat out a piece of dough. Cover with plastic wrap.COBBLER: Combine all cobbler ingredients, and place in greased 8x13 inch pan. Remove plastic wrap from crust and place on top of cobbler. Bake at 475-degrees for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly and crust is brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
