The Silverbow Inn

he Silverbow Inn is a unique six room guest inn in a newly remodeled 1914 building in the heart of historic downtown Juneau in southeast Alaska. The Silverbow is part bed and breakfast, part European-style urban pension. Each room is individually decorated and equipped with a full bath, cable television and a private phone line.

Every morning, stroll downstairs to the smell of hot fresh bagels, breads and pastries from our bakery next door. Our complimentary breakfast also includes fresh fruit, a variety of cereals, cheeses, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice. Hot tea, coffee and fresh baked pastries will await your return each afternoon.

The Silverbow building contains the oldest operating bakery in the state of Alaska. There has been a bakery here continuously since the 1890's. Now it is the site of the first traditional bagel bakery in Alaska, where bagels are first boiled and then baked every morning in our revolving tray oven.

Located in the oldest section of our historic downtown building is The Back Room restaurant. The menu is large and diverse. The emphasis is on great pastas and hot sandwiches, all served with fresh bread from our famous bakery next door. We stay open late for wine & beer, light fare, and fantastic homemade desserts.
