The construction of the over 3,500 square foot home began in 1980 and was cSwan House South Bed and Breakfastompleted in 2000. The original owners had plans for a summer home only. The home was approximately 50 per cent complete when the Swansons bought it and decided this was the perfect setting for a bed and breakfast. The house is located high above the water with multi-level decks that rise above the tidal slough and views that never end.Swan House South Bed and Breakfast

Seldovia is a place for those truly seeking peace and quiet. No one really passes through the tiny fishing village. It is off the road system and about 16 miles south of Homer across Kachemak Bay, and can only by reached by boat or plane. It takes a little effort to get there. You need to leave your car behind. Everything in the small village is within walking distance. Beach combing, hiking, mountain biking, berry picking, sight seeing, fishing, and good old rest and relaxation are among the few activities the community has to offer.

Swan House South Bed and BreakfastThe guest rooms in Swan House South will remain television free, as this is a place for adults (children limited) to get away from it all and relax in the peace and quiet Seldovia has to offer.
