t the Anderson House Inn we welcome our Bed and Breakfast guests to a wonderful alternative in lodging. Our 15 individually decorated guest rooms, each with a private bath, are furnished with handmade quilts and country antiques. Our rooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans and other amenities for your comfort. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere for our guests.

Our Great Room is the central focal point of the inn. Our guests are invited to relax in front of the native stone fireplace and enjoy conversation while watching our large screen TV with VCR or reading a book from our library. The walls reflect our love for the outdoors with several fish prints and originals as well as a few Glynda Turley outdoor prints. For our business travelers there is access to Fax machines, personal computers, and the Internet. Talk to us about reserving the entire in for business meetings, retreats, or reunions. We organize fly fishing schools, knitting group get aways, cooking schools, as well as acting as hosts for various church groups. We are a bed and breakfast but also a full service caterer, catering functions from 2 to 200 people.

The Inn also features a large front porch and balcony overlooking the city park across Main Street. Spring Park is an ideal place for walking, jogging, or tennis. In a shady setting, it has picnic tables, seven springs, and on occasion live entertainment. The park is also the site of various special events throughout the year. Arrangements can also be made for our guests to use tanning bed and exercise facilities.

Awaken to a new day and a cup of fresh-brewed coffee or a selection of teas. A delicious full breakfast is served each morning which may include fresh fruit, muffins, scones, omelets, egg soufflés, pancakes, waffles, or my favorite, blackberry cobbler. Guests may enjoy their meal in the Great Room or in our private dining room. We will adjust our breakfast schedule to try to accommodate the needs of all of our guests.

Our fishing groups have requested breakfast as early as 5:30 am. The atmosphere of the inn is warm, relaxed and friendly, and it is the hope of the innkeepers that you will make it your home away from home.
