from La Jolla Village's fabulous shore and beaches. Enjoy Sunset and
ocean views from the Inn and some of its Deluxe Rooms. Fireplaces and

(15) beautiful and completely different rooms (two of which are suites)
all with private baths. Showers and tub/shower combos. Fresh fruit,
fine sherry,  fresh
flowers, fluffy terry robes, irons/ironing boards, hair dryers, bubble
bath, body lotion, cotton balls and "Q" tips, soap, shampoo, and any
other toiletries you may have forgotten are available in each guestroom.
Cable
TV/VCR in the Library/Den and in some of the Deluxe rooms with videos
you can check out. Phones and Data Ports in each room with no charge
for local calls.
Parking
is limited but there is no charge for parking. Walking distance to museums,
beach, shops,
restaurants, galleries. etc. Public Tennis Court nearby and Museum of
Contemporary Art steps from the Inn. Golf tee times can be arranged.
Spa packages can be arranged. Picnic Lunches can be purchased and prepared
for your enjoyment at the beach if given 48 hour notice. Rooms are decorated
in the finest antiques and accessories with great attention to details.
Bikes are available for  your
enjoyment at no charge. Central location to enjoy all that San Diego
has to offer: Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, Stephen Birch
Aquarium, Wild Animal Park, Mexico and Lego Land.
A candlelit gourmet breakfast and a wine and cheese reception each afternoon are included in the price of the room as well as beverages and goodies in the dining room through out the day for your snacking pleasure. If traveling on business ask about our corporate mid week rates and sign up. Newspapers and early morning coffee available in the lobby and a business buffet for those who have early morning appointments.
Historic:
Built by Irving Gill in 1913 and home to the John Philip Sousa family
in the 1920's. The Inn is one of Gill's best examples of the "Cubist"
style architecture.

Cancellation policy: Two night deposit taken for reservations
on the weekends with a two night minimum stay. Midweek (Monday through
Thursday) there is a 1 night minimum stay with a one night's deposit
taken at time of reservation. If reservation is canceled 10 days prior
to arrival the deposit is refunded less a $20 cancellation fee. If
Holiday or Special events then deposit is in full and non refundable.
