or over 130 years, the Columbia City Hotel has been providing hospitality to wayfarers from all over the world. The hotel is small and intimate with only 10 guest rooms. The highly acclaimed dining room features a seasonally changing menu and one of California's finest wine lists. A novel aspect of the City Hotel experience is the training of students in the Hospitality Management Program offered through Columbia College.

Each room is individually appointed with antiques, and each has a half bath. Guests will find a wicker basket complete with all the necessities for the short walk down the hall to the shower room. A room with full bath and fully handicapped accessible can be found at the Fallon Hotel, our sister hotel, just down the street. We are 2 1/2 hours away from the metropolitan areas of San Francisco, Fresno and Sacramento, just off state highway 49.

Distinctive Features

The two balcony rooms are luxuriously appointed and overlook tree-lined Main Street.
The Parlor rooms are beautifully furnished and open directly onto the main sitting parlor.
The Hall rooms are just as ornately furnished but smaller in size.
Sherry is available in the parlor for your enjoyment.
A generous buffet breakfast is served, consisting of freshly baked breads and muffins, cereal, yogurt, quiche, orange juice and our own house blend of coffee.
