Four Spacious Suites will delight you. Each L-shaped suite contains a luxurious whirlpool tub for two, a roomy private bathroom with oversized shower, and a lovely sitting area. Sleep late in your romantic queen-sized canopy bed, then wake up to a breathtaking view of the town and surrounding area from your front balcony. One suite contains a love seat which makes into a single bed; perfect for that third person. A delicious gourmet breakfast of fresh fruits, homemade breads and a delectable hot dish will be delivered to your suite, if you'd like, and is included in the room rate. Later in the day you may join the innkeepers and guests for a casual but delicious Saturday afternoon tea and scones. Suites are reasonably priced and have been voted the most romantic place in the county for that special occasion. Each of the 14 beautiful guest rooms has been enlarged and individually decorated just to welcome our special travelers. Each room boasts a new private bath, an antique vanity, five feet of closet space, coordinated decorator fabrics and comfy new queen or twin beds. Guest rooms are designed with two people in mind. However, we do have one room with an extra twin bed. Many have high four-poster beds. Guest rooms have been developed using furniture from the hotel - rescued and beautifully restored. All have antique trunks gathered from the area and used as tables or benches. Guest rooms are reasonably priced with a full breakfast and Saturday afternoon tea included. McCloud Hotel's Spacious Lobby and Fireplace is a wonderful place to relax in any season. From its original registration desk with mail cubbies to the warm patina of aged pine, the lobby will beckon you to relax and reminisce. Cozy up in an overstuffed honest chair or sofa fashioned from the romantic 30's and covered in big bold prints. Enjoy a variety of music from your favorite period and recall a quieter, unhurried time. Play an old-fashioned game of Chinese Checkers, choose a book from our Library, ponder over a puzzle or visit with new friends. in the morning you can savor your full gourmet breakfast so good it inspired its own briskly selling cookbook called," ...with the emphasis on Breakfast". The lobby has been the site of many festive occasions including a special Christmas Eve Buffet, Mystery Theater Weekends, and family reunions with memories recreated at the piano.
