The Inn has been lovingly restored and is furnished throughout with
period pieces,classic European and Early American antiques. Oriental
rugs cover the hardwood floors and capture the warm hospitality that
is the trademark of the Innkeepers themselves. The adjacent Hitchcock
house features rooms with private entrances and luxuriously appointed
suites.
Fresh flowers and a decanter of sherry welcome you in comfortably furnished
guest rooms. All rooms have private baths and telephones.
Guests may relax and mingle in front of the brick fireplace, on the
covered front porch or on the back patio deck. The Innkeepers host a
social hour where guests are invited to meet and enjoy wine and
Dining at the Inn is a memorable experience. Upon awakening to the smell
of freshly brewed coffee, enjoy a full gourmet breakfast individually
prepared by the Innkeepers. During the day you will often experience
the aroma of freshly baked cookies, breads and coffee cakes. Saturday
evening dinners, served only to Inn guests have become a special tradition.
Our chef skillfully prepares a five course meal featuring such recipes
from the Old Yacht Club Inn Cookbook as Salmon with Rasberry Beurre
Blanc Sauce and Chocolate Cheesecake. Please inquire about the dinner
