We truly are the best Inn for touching the Pacific (most others sit on sheer cliffs that you cannot climb down or in the busy downtown areas). Hiking a mere 400 yards through the wildflowers of the Jughandle State Preserve leads you to our majestic "headlands" (for whale and seal watching) and a couple of very beautiful little coves with private beaches and incredible tide pooling. Breakfast starts
with steaming coffee or tea and fresh juices and baked fruit appetizers,
often topped with berries from our yard. We then serve up home-made
award winning entrees such as Shannon's Our lovingly cared-for 1880’s Victorian farmhouse, surrounded by century-old Cypress and Apple trees, berry bushes, wild roses and Calla Lilies, not only provide extraordinary whale-watching ocean views, but in addition, our front door opens to the Jughandle State Reserve. Come celebrate nature as you wander down paths where you may encounter deer, falcons, osprey and owls. At the ocean you may spot our migrating grey Whales and their babies playing off our reef or seals and sea lions sunning on the rocks. The private beach at the end of the path provides some of the best tide-pooling around! A wealth of return guests testifies to our love of entertaining you in our home. We welcome you without imposing ourselves upon you. We will be honored to host you, whether you come to explore, relax or mingle. DISTINCTIVE FEATURES
