The Shafsky House Bed & Breakfast is located a short stroll to the historic district of Placerville. Walk to shops and restaurants in old Hangtown. We have three guest rooms, each with a private bath. Our gold country hospitality includes a welcome snack and a full breakfast. Close to Apple Hill and Coloma, make the Shafsky House your place to stay while you explore all that Gold Country has to offer.
 Guest rooms include the Lighthouse Suite which has calming, cool blues to relax you and a nautical theme to inspire daydreams; The Vineyard with its burgundy color scheme and wine country inspired motif; and The Gandydancer which is decorated in lush emerald tones with a whimsical look at the past and present of railroading.
A tasty snack and refreshments await you upon check-in. We are a non-smoking inn. A courtesy phone with free local calls is located in the foyer for our guests use. With advance notice, we'll be glad to arrange an attractive flower bouquet for your room with your own personal message attached. Let us know if it's someone's birthday or anniversary and we'll make that person feel "extra" special. We'll be glad to recommend a restaurant for dinner and make your dinner reservations for you. Many local restaurant menus are available at the inn for you to look through and choose from.
