Bed and Breakfast Inns of North Americahis hand-hewn log lodge is exactly the type of welcoming retreat one might hope to enjoy on a vacation in the Colorado wilderness and the panoramic views of the Continental Divide and the Rocky Mountain National Park are just one reason. This award-winning lodge is highlighted by massive wood beams, log walls, and antiques.

The Bear Paw Inn features luxurious guestrooms with feather beds and European down comforters, while each room maintains unique qualities. The master bedroom has a private deck with a swing and a beautiful view, together with a new Jacuzzi master bath. The Devil's Thumb guest room sports a sleigh bed with antique dresser and private bath with a Jacuzzi tub. Views from this room include Indian Peaks and Devil's Thumb. Both rooms are built with 300 to 400 year old Canadian pine logs.

A full gourmet breakfast is included in your fare. Start with freshly ground Starbucks coffee. Entrees may include French Toast, Omelets, Eggs Callahan, Huevos Rancheros, super carb-loaded fresh blueberry pancakes, or "Chauncey's" sour cream Belgian Waffles with fresh raspberries and Vermont maple syrup. Baked goodies and fresh fruit will also be included along with afternoon treats or snacks.

Whatever your pleasure, whether winter or summer, there are plenty of activities for everyone. Besides world-class skiing at either Winter Park Resort or SilverCreek Resort, winter offers snowmobiling, ice skating, tubing and horse-drawn sleigh rides including dinner, or visit the newly renovated Hot Sulphur Springs Resort baths. Summertime activities include hot-air ballooning, white water rafting, golf at Colorado's #1 rated course, mountain biking, horseback riding, boating, fly fishing, weekly rodeos, and music festivals.
