Leland House offers 10 charming rooms (five are 3-room suites) in
a lovingly restored 1927 apartment house. All have kitchens and private
baths. The interior is decorated with rustic antiques, accented with photos
and biographies of historic figures associated with the Inn.
The newly-renovated
Rochester Hotel, directly across the street, was built in 1892.
It has 15 luxurious rooms (one suite). Its Old West motif was inspired
by the many Western movies filmed in the Four Corners area.
Both accommodations
are just steps from Durango's historic downtown district and the Durango
and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Our gourmet breakfast includes
fresh-baked goods, homemade granola, fresh fruit and a scrumptious daily
entree--such as asparagus and Swiss scramble with homefries, a spinach
croissant sandwich with homefries, and a fresh herb and feta scramble
with chive cakes and homemade salsa.
DISTINCTIVE FEATURES:
- Lovingly restored and renovated inn, just steps away from Durango's
historic district.
- 2 blocks to Durango-Silverton
Narrow Gauge Railroad station.
- Full gourmet breakfast served to all guests staying at the
Leland House and Rochester Hotel every morning.
