he Red Brook Inn is located
in Mystic, Connecticut Near Mystic Seaport Museum and the Aquarium.
Two casinos are within 10 miles of the inn. The inn is on the National
Register of
Historic Places and has won an award from President Reagan for the restoration
in 1986 of the Haley Tavern, the main building. Seven acres of woods
surround the two buildings, built in 1740 and 1785.
All
rooms are large and comfortable, with canopy or poster beds, there are
10 guest rooms within the two buildings and all are very large, with
wide pine board floors, fireplaces in seven rooms, as well as all the
parlors and dining room. Out doors there is a large terrace and wooded
trails to enjoy. Our breakfast is old fashioned, featuring pancakes,
waffles, French toast, or muffins and eggs, (cooks choice) coffee, tea,
juice and fruit is also offered.
