Our gardens encourage you to "smell the flowers" as many of them are scented and used in our B&B. Herb gardens provide the seasoning in our cooking and baking and eatable flowers garnish the dishes. Our
Tea Room is a richly warm room with lace curtains, scented geraniums
in the sunny windows and a wood burning fireplace. Breakfast is served
here with choices from our menu with specials like "strawberry stuffed"
French Toast, served from 8 to 10 am. You may also Our sitting room offers you a chance to get to know your innkeepers and fellow guests. Soft lavender and butter yellows with sage green trim, hand stenciled walls with garlands of roses. This west room offers sunsets that will dazzle you and views of the rolling hills. Antiques fill this chamber and the wood burning fireplace offers you the yesteryear. This handcrafted pencil post canopy bed is of oak, surrounded with creamy sheer curtains and finished with a beautiful quilt. The fine bed linens are scented with lavender to bid you pleasant dreams. Weaving Room approached by the back stairs, where hand stenciling fills

Hiking trails, swimming, and fishing can be found at the many State parks that surround us. Country fairs start in mid July and run into September. Local "Maple Lane Farms" provides berry picking to apple picking in the fall. Hayrides to the pumpkin fields to select the perfect pumpkin are offered on weekends. Fine dining, great seafood restaurants, and family causal eating can be found in minutes. Local mall and flea market. Casinos offer you a chance to hit the BIG ONE! Foxwoods is 4 miles away and Mohegan Sun is 15 minutes. Antique and book stores, auctions every other Fridays and estate sale. Our SPECIAL is stay two nights the third is FREE! Week days only.
