xperience a "miniature stone castle", built in 1911. This unique historic estate was meticulously renovated to the Arts and Crafts style, splashed with antiques in keeping with the period. From poured cement stairways, to oversized solid oak arch doors, to antique chandeliers, light fixtures and bathroom fixtures, to period European wall coverings and hand made wall coverings from a craftsman's studio, it breathes a calming, soothing ambiance that peels away the stress. No matter what the occasion, be it business, visiting the sites, friends or family, once on the grounds, one cannot help but succumb to its beckoning relaxing calls.

We aim to please, paying attention to detail to suit all tastes and comforts. We offer select rooms furnished with antiques in unique styles, all en suite and one with its own sitting room overlooking the meadow. All beds, linens, pillows and towels have been selected with a great deal of thought and care to heighten the experience of comfort and luxury.

Consider having cocktails before or after dinner in the Grand Room, either, in front of the oversized fireplace or sitting beside the baby grand piano beside the window views of the evergreens. Or, maybe share a smaller more intimate conversation in the library in front of the fireplace. Perhaps, quiet time is preferred in either of these setting. Hot and cold beverages and snacks are available at all times in our 'common area'. For those so inclined, on the lower level, we also offer the use of a small carpeted exercise room that has an elliptical rider and two Nordic riders. Antique French doors open onto the lower slate tiled patio to give the ambiance of the outdoors and nature while exercising.

VICTORIAN SUITE- Offers an elegant romantic five piece antique jade green bedroom suite with marble and gold gilt finish. The bed is queen size, with tufted green velvet set in a detailed carved hardwood headboard, stained in jade green with gold details. The extraordinary vanity has three floor length beveled glass mirrors set in ornately carved wood with a matching chair gold gilt chair. The orthopedic pillow mattress is dressed with fine high thread count cotton linens and both soft down pillows as well as firmer overstuffed down pillows all to encourage a restful slumber like no other! A genuine hand knotted oriental rug is befitting the fine furnishings and fixtures. A private color TV with cable service and VCR is hidden and easily accessible. The sun filled white and blue tiled private sitting room is accented with white wicker furniture to relax and contemplate the view of the rolling meadows below. The private bathroom is well appointed with jade and gold gilt leaf fixtures and luxurious Egyptian cotton towels, robes, slippers and soothing lotions.

SLEIGHBED ROOM- Experience this superior Mahogany detailed Sleigh bed room. The fine wood grain and workmanship is highly complimented with a traditional hand knotted Oriental Rug. A private color TV with cable service and VCR is hidden in the matching armoire available for easy access and viewing. The Orthopedic Pillow mattress is dressed with fine high thread count cotton linens in addition to both soft down pillows as well as firmer overstuffed down pillows all to create the perfect ambiance and slumber to help bring you to your deeper "senses".
