Located one-half block from the ocean, and steps away from shopping, fine dining and the beach, the Lord and Hamilton Seaside Inn is a vintage Victorian home built in 1871. A wrap-around porch invites you to relax on comfortable wicker furniture and rockers. Enjoy the ocean breezes and allow yourself to be taken back in time! The Inn is located on the original plot of land purchased by the founder of the Rehoboth Beach Camp-Meeting Association, the Rev. R.W. Todd. The house has been restored and still retains its 19th Century charm and atmosphere. The restoration includes a combination of Victorian decor and English country comfort of lace curtains and chintz and is furnished with family heirlooms and antiques.

Each room has its own distinct personality, and a rose motif is evident throughout the house. Bedrooms are tasteful and cheerful and include designer linens. Several provide ocean views. All rooms have private baths.

Guest Rooms

Room #1 (1^st Floor) A lovely solid cherry, canopy queen-size bed is the center of attraction. An antique armoire and easy chairs, a private entrance, and a full private bathroom make this spacious room one of our most charming.

Room #3 (2^nd Floor) This cozy room with a stately pine canopy double bed has an attached bathroom featuring a claw-foot tub and old fashioned "ring shower".

Room #5 (3^rd Floor) A king-size bed, windows on three sides and two views of the ocean add to the special appeal of this room. A full private bath is included in this lovely ocean view room.

Room #2 (2^nd Floor) A king-size bed in a room flooded with light from five windows on three sides, coupled with a view of the ocean and a private bath, make this room a favorite!

Room #4 (2^nd Floor) This bright, sunny room with a double canopy bed includes a conversation area with an old-fashioned rocker. A full private bath and private entrance add to this room's charm.

Room #6 (3^rd Floor) This two room suite, in pastel shades and period wallpaper, has a cozy conversation area with an ocean view. Two double beds and a private bath make this a charming, intimate suite!
