stay in our cabin is a refreshing surprise of
casual Southern Comfort. We offer a casual “kick your shoes off” atmosphere
filled with warmth and sunlight. Our two story log home has three guest rooms,
each
with
a different and unique appeal and its own private bathroom. A cozy front
room lets you eat a full English breakfast with a typically British theme,
surrounded by wood walls, under cathedral ceilings with high windows letting
the sunshine in. Or, enjoy the fresh air and eat breakfast on the deck outside
looking out over the landscaped gardens toward the Lake. Lounge among the plants,
wildlife and foliage that warm you with a garden effect where our love of nature
is evident.
Lake Helen is a beautiful serene small country town dotted with historic homes and lakes. It is know as the “Gem of Florida” and it truly is. We're excited to share our little piece of heaven and meet new friends.
The Captain's Room is just that. A room fit for a captain! Soak
in your private blue whirlpool tub surrounded by ships and treasure maps, then
relax on a king size bed. Satisfy your urge for a nautical cruise without leaving
land! French doors open to your own private log porch to sip your 
morning coffee
while enjoying the views of the lawn and lake.
You will think you are in a remote tropical location when you sleep in the Island Room. Fish and shells abound and the view overlooking beautiful oaks and the lake is wonderful. Queen size bed and slanted roof makes you feel like you are in an island hut. Private bath with tub and shower combo.
Period furniture and collectibles take you back in time in our Antique Room. Wood tones with greens and burgundy and old fashioned flair bring back memories of years gone by. Relax and read a book in the dormer nook while you glance at the view out-side, then take a nap on the queen size bed. History expresses itself here with antiques from different eras. With a private bath, you have lots to room to relax and enjoy!
Area activities include antiquing, fishing, Manatees, galleries, theater, Cassadaga, river cruises, restaurants, deep sea fishing, golf and horseback riding. Bring your horses! A private barn with stall, within 2 miles of our Cabin is available to board horses overnight.
