Crane Creek Inn Waterfront B & B

rane Creek Inn was built in 1925 and is located on a direct tributary to the Indian River (intracoastal waterway) and Atlantic Ocean, known as "Crane Creek." The property was once used in the late 1800s for people boarding a ferry to go to the barrier island of Melbourne Beach from the Orange Spot Inn which was located across the street until it burned down in 1927.

Crane Creek Inn has five beautifully decorated rooms and is impeccable inside and has lush tropical landscaping on the outside. Each guest room has central air and heat, cable TV, telephone, private bath, direct exit to the outside verandah, and gorgeous water views of Crane Creek. Our long "Florida Cracker" styled front porch greets you and takes you back to days of old, with it's wicker chairs, and porch swing. Once inside, the beautiful heart of yellow pine hardwood floors are throughout the main house, dining room, wicker room and guest room.

A full country style breakfast is served on weekends and a continental plus breakfast on Mon-Fri with fresh fruits and breads. Complimentary snacks, cakes, and soft drinks are always available. Enjoy the day by relaxing on any one of our four verandahs, bicycling, downtown shopping, swimming in our pool, hot tub, fishing of our private dock, canoeing, paddle boating, or rest in the hammock under the palms.
