Henson Cove Place Bed & Breakfast

enson Cove Place is a unique lodging facility in Towns County, Georgia. From the front porch guests can enjoy the view of the valley complete with grazing horses, admire Kelly Ridge, or just relax on the porch swing. Guests are invited to enjoy the hosts' library, watch television in thesitting room, or just kick off their shoes and unwind. A telephone is available for guest's use in the sitting room.

A full breakfast is served each morning in the dining room and usually contains the hosts' homemade treats baked in a 1929 Tappan gas range. Guests staying in the Mountain Room awake with a view of Kelley Ridge from their high, king sized bed. One of the original rooms in the house, the Mountain View has a rustic appeal with old-fashioned comfort. Across the hall, a private, Victorian, country bath complete with a pedestal sink and a large clawfoot tub provides a relaxing atmosphere. The Garden Suite includes a queen sized sleigh bed, antiques, quilts, ceiling fan, a western cedar shower bath en suite, and a view of the rose garden. The Garden Suite lives up to its name byproviding a private reading area. Whether you prefer to read by natural sunlight or lamp light, the love seat located in the reading area will meet with your approval. Or, if you choose, simply relax and listen to the birds serenade you from the nearby 100 year old white pine tree.

The Hideaway Room is the newest room upstairs over the new dining room has a queen bed with a New Orleans headboard, private shower bath, sitting area and Dish TV in the room. Decorated with flowers year-round, you'll always be able to hide away from the busy world and enter a time reminiscent of a slower, more tranquil, relaxing time filled with fragrant, soft breezes.

The 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cabin in the woods provides comfort in a rustic atmosphere for 2-8 people in a two-story, gambrel roofed structure. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one queen size and one full bed, and a half bath. Downstairs the living room converts into a third bedroom with a queen size Murphy bed and folding doors for privacy. Two cots are also available. A color television with satellite dish and VCR, gas log fireplace, air conditioning, linens, all the kitchen supplies you'll need as well as a small barbecue grill complete the amenities.
