Kilauea Lodge is located on ten acres of gardens and native forest in peaceful Volcano Village a mile from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. A former YMCA camp built in 1938, Kilauea Lodge offers spacious rooms and cottages all with private bath, central heat and some with fireplaces. Full breakfast is included. The Lodge dining room with its massive stone fireplace, koa tables and collection of local art is a welcome sight for hungry guest after an active day in Madame Pele's backyard. The restaurant provides excellent continental cuisine. European trained owner-chef Albert offers a tantalizing variety of dishes. Such as Venison, Hasenpfeffer, Antelope, Lamb, and a selection of seafood and vegetarian dishes. Kilauea Lodge is perfectly located as a home base for exploring the island of Hawaii!
