Relax on your lanai listening to the sounds of the ocean waves crashing against the coast and the mingling of many songs from the beautiful Hawaiian birds that live in our gardens and orchards. Join us in a gourmet cooking class, or learn a local craft such as Hawaiian wreath or lei making. We can even teach you a hula.

Of course there are many things to do in the area. Akaka Falls is two miles from The Palms Cliff House and is the second most popular attraction for visitors to the Big Island. There are many spectacular waterfalls and gardens nearby for you to explore. And we can even tell you some that you wont find in any guide books. Volcano National Park and Kona are also an easy drive distance form The Palms Cliff House making us a convenient point to explore the Island from.

We offer eight large luxury suites at The Palms Cliff House: one with two twin beds, one with a queen bed and private garden, and six with king beds. Four suites also have fireplaces and in room oversized jetted tubs romantically located in a turret alcove overlooking the ocean. All suites overlook the ocean and Pohakumanu Bay, and have a TV as well as a DVD player, bathrooms with Italian marble, spacious bedroom, and Italian lace sheets.

Smoking is permitted outside the home and rooms only. Well behaved older children are welcom, parents of young children are strongly cautioned - the Bed and Breakfast is located on a 100 foot cliff and unsupervised children are at risk of falling, county ordinance allows only 2 guests per room.
