xperience Hillendale Bed & Breakfast with its 29 rooms and 17 baths. Built in 1891 by prominent Morrison businessman E. A. Smith for his bride, Ellen, this magnificent home was restored to its original grandeur in 1991 by Barb and Mike Winandy and opened as a bed and breakfast. In addition to the 10 guest bedrooms, you will discover two parlors, a billiard room, fitness room, water garden and gazebo.

ALOHA -- Breezy, tropical colors accentuate Aloha, which has a king size bed, natural gas fireplace, private bath and whirlpool spa for two, desk, TV/VCR, and sitting area. $156

BONJOUR -- The romance of French Country is evident in this oversized room with Victorian dresser, queen size high back bed, TV, desk and sitting area. Its private bath holds a clawfoot bathtub adapted for a shower. $93

CIAO -- A bright cheerful room is decorated with portraits of Italy. Twin beds highlight this room. A detached private bathroom with tub and shower is located directly across the hall. $67

FAILTE -- The lushness of the Irish countryside is captured in the Rococo Victorian high back queen bed and armoire. The natural gas fireplace warms the room with its stained beveled glass window, desk, TV/VCR. Private bath with tub and shower. $114

HAUKOLA -- Images of the setting desert sun welcome you to our southwestern room with its king size bed, private bath with shower, whirlpool spa for two and TV/VCR. $140

JUMBO -- Earthy tones of Africa are reflected in Jumbo, which has a zebra drum nightstand, queen-size bed, desk, TV and a private bathroom with shower. $93

KIMARRIN -- The fiery Mayan culture is communicated in the decorating of blues and reds highlighted by photographs of antiquities, queen size bed, mini-electric fireplace, TV and private bath with shower/tub combination. $88

OUTBACK -- The beauty of the Outback of Australia is reflected in this three room suite. Natural gas fireplace, whirlpool spa for two, shower, king size bed, TV/VCR, and mini refrigerator are the features of the room. $166

SAYONARA -- A displayed kimono peppers Sayonara with an Oriental flavor. It contains a double-size bed and a private bathroom with a shower. $88

WELKOM -- Lace and delft accessories accentuate the Dutch theme in this room with its canopy king size bed, fireplace, private bath with double shower and TV/VCR. $125

Breakfast is served at a time arranged at the time of your check-in for your convenience. Guests will savor a home cooked full breakfast from Barb's scrumptious menu.

For your business needs, meeting rooms accommodate up to 25 people for off-site retreats. Equipment available includes TV, VCR, overhead projector and newspaper easels with markers.
