taying
in Wicker Park, the city's most dynamic and eclectic neighborhood, you
will enjoy a unique opportunity to experience Chicago as the natives
do. A short walk from a variety of shops, restaurants, coffeehouses,
and nighttime attractions, the Wicker Park Inn is located on
a quiet, tree-lined street of turn-of-the-century row houses.
Built in the 1890's, the Wicker Park Inn offers you a glimpse of old-world
Chicago while providing you with all of the conveniences of home. Your
hosts, David and Stephen are committed to making you as comfortable
in their home as you are in your own.
Conveniently located
on the Chicago Transit Authority's (CTA) Blue Line, a visit to the Wicker
Park Inn does not require the rental of a car. The Blue Line elevated
/ subway train runs from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, through
downtown Chicago to the near-west suburb of Oak Park (location of Frank
Lloyd Wright architectural walking tours). Access from Chicago's Midway
Airport is equally convenient. Indeed, the Wicker Park Inn is an ideal
base for exploring all of Chicago's sights. All major attractions are
a short train, bus, taxi or bicycle ride away. And when you're ready
to call it a day you can return to your oasis of tranquility to reflect
on your experience and plan your next day's adventures.
The Wicker Park
Inn features two charming guestrooms. The Cape Cod Room, so named for
its ocean blue hues and the seaside images of its art, has a queen-sized
bed and in-suite marble bath with shower. The Provence Room, so named
