This Victorian era mansion was built in 1886 and is located in the lively Lincoln Park neighborhood, just two miles north of the downtown area and blocks west of Lake Michigan, on a street of Old Dames. This urban inn offers both guest rooms in the main house and furnished apartments in the coach house.

Each room and apartment is unique and lovingly furnished with beautiful, comfortable beds with lovely linens and interesting antiques and found objects.

Each morning a continental buffet breakfast, including specialties from Chicago's institutions, including Ann Sather's cinnamon rolls and our kitchen's healthy and interesting fare is provided in the main house. And if you prefer, a breakfast basket can be delivered to the rooms in the coach house.

Between the main house and the coach house is an ivy filled garden where you can enjoy your breakfast or have a glass of lemonade after a busy day. In the winter you can relax in front of one of our fireplaces.
