As you enter the huge foyer, your eye is drawn to a beautifully crafted oak staircase and pier mirror, taking you back to a bygone era. A music parlor on the first floor offers an old Victrola and a 1914 player piano offering an opportunity to become involved in this early example of interactive entertainment. The dining rooms has oak paneling, a fireplace and beveled glass windows. In the morning enjoy a full breakfast that may offer French toast, perhaps a strata or even the chef's whim. Weather permitting, breakfast may be served on the back deck overlooking the lily ponds. During a warm afternoon, relax with some iced tea amid ferns and wicker furniture on the front porch. Wandering throughout the house, one enjoys a wide variety of antiques the innkeepers have collected during the past thirty years. The treasures include a twin cradle, period lighting fixtures and a curved top oak desk. Each of the guest rooms are professionally decorated with their own personality. Outside, the perennial gardens and lily ponds offer an opportunity to enjoy this secluded nook in the mist of an urban setting. The inn is just five minutes from the center of downtown and all that exciting Indy has to offer. DISTINCTIVE FEATURES:
Children
over the age of twelve are welcome. In case you have allergies, you
do need to know we have a resident dog and cat. We can arrange boarding
for your pets. Courteous smoking is allowed on either the front porch
or outside deck. For the safety of all guests, no smoking is allowed
on the guest room floors. Since we are small, a five day cancellation
notice is necessary to receive a deposit refund. If cancellation is
made less than five days before arrival, no refund is made unless

to the north of downtown. Minutes away are the Convention Center, RCA
Dome, Children's Museum, Conseco Fieldhouse, Zoo, theatres, antiques,
shopping, restaurants, The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and all of downtown
Indianapolis.
