Bed and Breakfast is a reflection of the owners world travels and life in the
military. He has lived or visited five of the seven continents of the world....hence
the name. Located within walking distance to the French Quarter and the Fairgrounds
where the world famous New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is held each
year as well as all major tourist attractions.
Three two-room suites with antique clawfoot bathtubs, fireplaces, balcony's and
a cottage in the garden area just off the courtyard await the guests with a
feel of a European luxury guest house. Each guest accommodation is decorated
with artwork from the continents they represent - Europe, Asia, Eurasia and
North America. Unpretentious, comfortable, luxurious surroundings with an attention
to detail that only your Swiss trained host can provide await you.
Breakfast is a two-course event served in our formal dining room. It starts with a choice of freshly brewed coffee or a selection of fine teas, juice and fresh seasonal fruit. The main course can be a Smoked Salmon Scramble with hot buttery biscuits, Shrimp Benedict, Pear Stuffed French Toast with a side of hickory smoked bacon or Buckwheat and Pecan Waffles with a side of Maple sausage links. Special diets and allergies can be accommodated. We offer honeymoon and anniversary packages, holiday packages and can do small conferences or weddings.
