aison Louisiane is perfectly situated in the heart of the historic district in beautiful downtown historic Natchitoches within easy walking distance to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Five elegant bedrooms are available, each with it's own distinct style. The William C.C. Clairborne room is our most grandiose room, ideal for honeymooners or anniversaries. The massive full tester bed is draped in luxurious duponi silk. Custom made draperies hang graciously from the ten-foot windows.

Other highlights include custom made duvet, shams and bed skirt, antique bedroom chair and very large private bath including shower, bathtub, bidet and antique vanity. The General James Wilkenson Room features a beautiful king bed, elegant antique armoire, vanity and bedroom chair. The private bath showcases a custom made glass enclosed shower and antique footed tub. The Pierre Laussat Room features a full sized antique wrought iron bed and beautiful French armoire. The walls are draped in a lovely toile pattern, which commemorates the first balloon launching in France over 100 years ago. The custom duvet cover, shams and bed skirt are of the same pattern. The private bath features a double sink, bathtub and shower and eight-foot lighted mirror.

The Library Room, located downstairs, features a Queen-size sleigh bed and antique armoire housing many rare books by local authors. The private bath features a Jacuzzi tub and shower. The Garden Suite is perfect for families or extended stays. Located behind the main house, it has two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with two twin beds. Other features include, a large living area, which has cable TV, VCR and stereo, a kitchenette with range, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub and shower. French doors overlook Bayou Amulet, which runs along the property.

Awaken each morning to a full gourmet French style breakfast complete with fresh brewed coffee and tea elegantly served in our large formal dining room. Spend the day touring the many Plantation Homes along the fabled Cane River or lounge the day away in our spacious Parlor Room while indulging in poetry, playing the piano, or engaging in a friendly game of chess. Help yourself to an afternoon cocktail at our honor bar located in the breezeway, overlooking the rear gardens. Featured in the movie Steel Magnolias as the "Robeline Rooming House", Maison Louisiane is as relaxing as it is breathtaking.
