tep back in time and enjoy your stay with us in an elegant, yet very comfortable 1840's Greek Revival house restored and updated for your convenience. Marigny Manor House features large and spacious rooms with high ceilings, original ornate plaster moldings, beautiful chandeliers, original hardwood floors, oriental rugs, and antique and reproduction furniture. All guests will have access to the beautiful living room and dining room in the main house.
The spacious guest rooms each have a private entrance and bath and each are furnished with antiques and a queen-size bed. Amenities include ceiling fans, hair dryers, refrigerators, coffee makers, complimentary tea and coffee, irons and ironing boards, alarm clocks, cable televisions, telephones, and free wireless internet. There is limited off-street parking upon request.
Green Room — Deluxe Queen
Light streams in from the tall windows in this room that open on to a private balcony. Features a four-poster antique queen bed, designer linens, antique marble top chest, fireplace, oriental rugs and a unique "European style" bathroom with antique claw-foot tub and shower.
Red Room — Deluxe Queen
This very large elegant room is perfect for any special occasion. It features a queen sized four-poster antique bed, designer linens, antique armoire, fireplace, marble top table and two antique chairs. There are 3 oriental rugs on beautiful original heart of pine hardwood floors. The fireplace is in a separate arched alcove of the room. There is a large step down private bath with tub and shower.
Balcony Room — Regular Queen
This spacious room opens on to a balcony overlooking the lush courtyard. There is a queen sized reproduction four poster bed, designer linens, antique chest, a library of art, history, and travel books on one wall. This unit has a private bath with tub and shower. There is a sleeping sofa bed that will accommodate up to two additional guests in the room. This room and the Courtyard room below may be combined as a 2 bedroom suite for 4 - 8 people.
Courtyard Room — Regular Queen
This large room opens directly on to the tropical courtyard. The room has a four poster antique Queen size bed, two wing back chairs, and a chest. There is a sleeping sofa bed that will accommodate up to two additional guests in the room. This room and the Balcony room above may be combined as a 2 bedroom suite for 4 - 8 people.
A delicious complimentary breakfast with yogurt, pastries, cereal, fruit, juices, coffee and tea is served in the dining room every morning from 8:30-10 am. After a busy day touring the French Quarter, relax on our front porch, upstairs balcony or lush tropical courtyard. There is limited off-street parking on request.
