o be close to the Sea and the Sky...A longing, which
has always drawn people to Provincetown: Poets, writers, artists...people who
fall in love with this special place at the edge of the continent. We dedicate
the Carpe Diem Guesthouse & Spa to the "dead poets", many of whom have been
inspired by the spiritof magical places like our little sandbar.
Provincetown is renowned for its endless miles of Cape Cod beaches,
sand dunes, beech forest trails and cycle paths. Provincetown is also the birthplace
of America's oldest art colony and home to both world class and emerging artists.
The seas off Cape Cod provide Provincetown restaurants with the finest oysters,
clams, lobsters, tuna and sea bass. The Carpe Diem Guesthouse is perfectly
located within minutes of all the town's attractions.
We hope you find The
Carpe Diem Guesthouse the perfect place to stay for your vacation at the edge
of the continent.
Jurgen's homemade German-style breakfast is famous. Every morning,
the "family-size" dining
table or the smaller individual, more private tables are the meeting point for
a good cup of coffee and a nice chat with friendly people. You will always find
homemade breads, bagels, croissant, muffins, cakes, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts,
jams, cold cuts, orange juice, fresh Carpe Diem Coffee and a wide variety of
teas. On
weekends, Jurgen prepares breakfast highlights such as German Bread,
Belgian Waffles, pancakes, quiche, omelets, frittata or other special treats.
Our secluded garden is a green oasis far away from all the excitement
of Commercial Street. The sound of relaxing music, as well as water flowing
from the fountains and fish tank, will take you on along a journey of the heart
and imagination. Breakfast, afternoon
refreshments, as well as wine and cheese,
are being served on the patios.
Our mission is to meet and exceed our guests' expectations through constant improvement and innovation. We are committed to make the difference every day and to create a unique and luxurious multipurpose guesthouse and spa. We aim to provide a comfortable enviroment for our guests to experience deep relaxation and reconnection through our services and amenities. You will be able to enjoy a wonderful array of spa experiences that allow you to feel the benefits of heat and cold, light and darkness, touch and aromas. With a choice of light treatments such as the gentle Footbaths to more intense therapies such as the Hamam Steam Bath, Finnish Dry Sauna, Spa Tub Hydromassage or massage services, our guests' journey is interspersed with relaxation time in a choice of peaceful settings. From the moment our guests begin their Spa experience, we want to ensure their comfort. Our atmosphere is soothing and enjoyable.
