Built in the late 1700's, the inn's period décor transports you back to life as it might have been in the 18th century. Common areas include a front parlor and two dining rooms. Stay in one of four large guest rooms, each with its own private bath and either a king or queen-size bed. One room features a Jacuzzi tub; three have private phone lines; all have mini-fridges, cable TV and VCRs. Various touches such as Chinese accents, floral prints, Sheraton and Chippendale-style antiques, and country accessories give each room its own personality.

Relax in the Jacuzzi tub after a busy day. Swift River--The Swift River Room is a new favorite among our guests where you can watch a vivid sunset from the tall windows overlooking backyard apple trees. The cherry wood, pencil post, pillow top, queen size bed guarantees a restful night's sleep. The private bath is the largest, featuring a claw foot soaking tub. Arcadia--Arcadia Room offers both a comfortable queen size bed and a twin size day bed. The décor is country with floral accessories. Write postcards at the table between the sunlit windows or curl up in the rocker with a book, magazine, or video from our extensive library. Quabbin--The Quabbin Room is furnished in the Sheraton style, with a king size bed a sofa for lounging, and a first-floor location for added convenience. It offers a private bath with shower.
