Stumble Inne

he Stumble Inne has won the top awards in the bed and breakfast/ Inns category from a voter's poll in Cape Cod Life Magazine for 7 out of the last 8 years. It has 6 bedrooms in a restored Greek revival 2 story building located in Nantucket Town. It has modern amenities and much historic charm.

The Inne was originally built as a private home in 1704 and rebuilt in the early 1800's. It has wide pine flooring, 10 foot ceilings on the first floor and is furnished with antiques and reproductions throughout. It is meticulously and immaculately maintained. Most rooms have a queen size 4 poster bed, private bath, air conditioning, cable TV/VCR and refrigerator. A hearty continental breakfast is provided each morning at 9 AM. There is a spacious yard for guests to relax on chaises. A bicycle rack is also available. Beach towels are provided in season.

Behind the Inne is a wonderful 2 bedroom cottage. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has 2 twin beds. It has a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom and a cathedral ceiling living room with cable TV/VCR, and stereo and a private deck.

The Inne is within walking distance to most of the shops and restaurants in town. It is located across the street from a shuttle bus stop the runs in season to the beaches.
